Giving Back

It has been almost 10 years that I have moved back to the UK and have started my private practice. What I have come to realise through my work with people is how passionate I’m about touching the lives of the people around me – that’s why I was determined to contribute to the lives of the people within the Greek community.

However, my heart has always quietly reminded me that my work would only be complete once I find a way of making Greece’s future a bit better. The fact that I left Greece has made me realise how much I care for Greece and how much I want to be part of a better future for the country that I was born and brought up.

Despite how busy I was becoming throughout the years, it became clearer and clearer to me, that meaning never comes from what you get, but it comes from what you give. That’s why I decided to invest in Greece’s future through my work, hopefully creating a meaningful change in the world.

So from December 2019 and onwards every 10th session that I have completed with each client, I will donate these funds to different charities in Greece.

The first charity on my list is ΗΟPEgenesis.

When I was introduced to Dr Chandakas’ work  – https://bit.ly/2qVUExv – (he’s an Obstetrician – Gynecologist and Minimal Access Surgeon, as well as the founder of HOPEgenesis), I realised that Greece can be more than just sitting back, focusing only on yourself, but it could also be about giving back, creating a different future and respecting the needs of others!

HOPEgenesis is a Greek non-profit organization active in the field of medicine and social welfare that addresses the issue of low birth rates in Greece. Its mission is to help to increase the birth rates in Greece as well as provide comprehensive health care and treatment for women who become pregnant until the day they give birth.

My aim is to make sure that through our work together, your life will be improved, as well as the lives of people in Greece!

Get involved by making sure that you are consistently looking after yourself by attending weekly sessions, as well as by contributing though your own commitment!

Please don’t forget to tell all your Greek family and friends about this initiative.

Many many thanks from the bottom of my heart!

PS. Please let me know whether there is any charity that holds a special place in your heart and it will be included in the list of charities to come…
